Parameters for Review
It is not possible for me to do all of these volunteer projects, so for the projects listed here, I’ve done extensive research on them based on the following questions:
- How did they get the animals? Are the animals rescued, rehabilitated, or wild?
- Do they allow human contact with the animals? Do they allow contact with cubs or young animals?
- For rehabilitation organizations and sanctuaries, what kind of living conditions do the animals have? Do the animals receive any enrichment?
- What is the ultimate goal of the organization or project? Is it to further wildlife conservation or to make money for themselves?
