A better day today based on two things: a thoroughly satisfying podcast interview (broadcast date TBD) and a long walk in sunshine. Oh, and the fact that it’s Saturday and I got to sleep in. We hadn’t walked around Lake Ann for more than a year, and doing so today we discovered a lot of property owners had improved their landscaping or remodeled their homes—as far as we could tell from the outside. One industry in this area that’s fared well during covid are the remodelers. Isolation has also brought out the creativity of many folk, like the people who created art with stones. Hubby started a new stone artwork project today, working on a rockery in our front yard. God bless the artists who create for passersby to experience. We need more art in 2021, not destruction.
