It’s so good to see Mama sitting on the couch in her PJs working on a crossword puzzle late in the morning. What life is supposed to be like when you’re 90. We sisters went for a walk in the light drizzle and later today we saw Mom’s room in the new care facility where she’ll be living starting from Monday. John, one of the maintenance guys, was funny, and the director was sweet. We feel confident they’ll be great for her and that she will like the place once she gets used to it. And with my sister 15 minutes away, she’s near family and get to go out. I’m just enjoying spending all this time with her.
