I spent most of the day putting the finishing touches on my latest book (“DIY Solo Retreats,” coming in June) before I send it to the editor. I’m getting excited about that book, a slim volume that I hope people will find useful. I started writing it last August on a challenge, part of which was to publish it by October 1. So it’s eight months late, but at least I rose to the challenge.

Tonight I’m part of an online storytelling show with my local awesome group, Better Said Than Done, produced by our local awesome storyteller and producer, Jessica Robinson. I’ll post a video of my story on my website as soon as the recording is available.

Tonight Mom is very much on my mind. She was taken to the hospital today for observation. I won’t include the details here, but suffice to say she isn’t happy. I include my favorite recent picture of her. Prayers needed.
