Last night I stayed up until 11 working on my document that demonstrates how great I am and all the fab things I’ve done in my current role. It will be presented as evidence that I’m the best person for the role. A former colleague has been pointing out areas where I’m underselling myself. She’s good for that. We all need people to subvert our own egos when they tell us we suck.

A handful of people in the office today but it remains quiet, especially after they told us we’d have to start wearing masks again sitting at our desks. I complied but not the two guys sitting near me. I tried to give them the stinkeye. Is it my job to be the mask police? Don’t know whether they were ignorant or arrogant. I let it go.
