Today’s quest: 6-mile hike, straight up and straight down, at Sky Meadows State Park. Appalachian Trail at the top. Temperature: ~40 F. |

| Someone decorated a forest tree with tinsel and one ornament. Not terribly wildlife friendly, but there you go. |  |
