When I opened the blinds in our living this room, I discovered one of our neighborhood friends (Winnie) napping on the compost heap. She was probably taking advantage of the warmth rising from the pile of rotten leaves (and possibly some horse poo mixed in). A squirrel stood on the gardening table scolding her for a minute, but Winnie didn\u2019t seem too interested in having the chattering nuisance for breakfast. Too bad; we could do with fewer squirrels around here.<\/p>\n

I had another training at work today, an extension of this rah-rah for women workshop I had on Wednesday. We continued to examine our negative stories and broke into pairs to help each other come up with a new, positive, story. Mine boiled down to \u201cStop comparing and start aspiring\u201d and \u201cStop whining and continue producing.\u201d In my case it relates to my creative writing. Someone in the group referred to these as \u201cSarah\u2019s wisdom bombs.\u201d Though I\u2019m not crazy about the weapons analogy, I like the imagery it conjures of blowing up the sh*t that doesn\u2019t serve you. What\u2019s your negative story, and how will you change it? The starburst photo is from a headstone in the cemetery where I walked this afternoon.
