Took Mom for her last dermatology appointment to get little spots of skin cancer burned off her face, head, and legs. She\u2019s such a trooper; sometimes I just want to hug the stuffing out of her. After she got back from having lunch at the dining room (by herself), she took a nap. In the gray late afternoon, we took her for a roll in the wheelchair around Fort Ben Park. She has loved that place for many years, and always reminisces about going there with Dad to watch people fish on their tiny lake. That park is definitely her happy place, and it\u2019s mine too. Zoomed with Mom and all my sisters when we got back. It\u2019s so nice to see Mom happy. She exclaimed how lucky she was to have four daughters looking after her. Here\u2019s hoping this major move will go swimmingly. Just a few more days of saying goodbye to friends she\u2019s known for years and whom she will probably never see again.<\/p>\n

Spent the evening perfecting my pilot script and other requested materials from last week\u2019s Hollywood pitch fest. Do I believe in miracles?<\/p>\n
