Pinch punch, first of the month. I got Hubby and my friend this time. Small victories count when your eyes are gooping up and you\u2019re tired of limping around in a Frankenstein boot. It is Oscar the Grouch Day (among 15 other Days today), and I\u2019m feeling a little grouchy. My only outings today were going to the mechanic to pick up my car, going to the eye doctor for some relief, and to the pharmacy for the relief ointment. I do love how people give you a wide berth when you\u2019re zooming along on a knee scooter\u2014on the sidewalk and in stores and doctors\u2019 offices. The mechanic, however, had the audacity to say about my scooter, \u201cI know this is probably not cool, but that looks like fun.\u201d My response, \u201cIt sucks, dude.\u201d<\/p>\n

The contractor came to demo the upstairs tub and the other contractor\u2019s Bobcats and various attachments are still sitting in my driveway and yard\u2014along with a mountain of red clay\u2014awaiting job completion. God love contractors, but some can be frustrating at times.<\/p>\n

Looking forward to some proper outdoor tomorrow after work.<\/p>\n
