Yes, I\u2019m looking at you, Case Design. WTF? It may be simple for them to fix, but the hassle it causes me is not simple, moving stuff out of the way for them to fix and then dealing with the drywall and putty dust that flies everywhere when they sand it down before painting (in the shades, the carpet, the light fixtures and fan), not to mention the time it takes me to deal with it all. Next time I will consider other bids for remodeling work. Here\u2019s hoping we don\u2019t run into similar issues when they start the basement and master bath. They are lucky I\u2019m calm about this\u2014calm but firm.<\/p>\n<p>My big outing today was Home Depot, Safeway, Walgreens, the gas station, and a friend\u2019s house to drop off some kale. Better than nothing, but I find myself getting busier again after the ankle slowed me down for a few weeks. I\u2019m still booted but hoping to get a reprieve when I visit the foot doc on Thursday. My little mind is telling me to get back to work, \u201cLook at all this stuff you need to get done.\u201d My bigger spirit is responding with, \u201cDo you want me to injure the other ankle? That will force you to chill.\u201d Wagers on which will win? (No, I\u2019m not taking bets, but the alliteration was worth writing.)<\/p>\n<p>Deborah Voll, from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deborahvoll.com\/podcasts\/\">Calm the Chaos<\/a>, interviewed me tonight for her podcast of the same name about my <a href=\"https:\/\/lunarivervoices.com\/staging\/books\/diy-retreats\/\">forthcoming book (DIY Solo Retreats)<\/a>.
