Spent most of the morning deep-cleaning our bedroom before our planned move back in at the end of this coming week. Top to bottom, front to back, every dust bunny, dirt speck, and stray feather from our down comforter\u2014not mention Hubby\u2019s collection of fingernails he chews off and drops on the floor behind the bed\u2014where vacuumed up. We cleaned the windows inside and out, wiped down the ceiling fan blades, and dusted every face of furniture front and back. When that was done, we moved a bunch of things and shelved away from the inside back wall of the garage to prepare for the contractors to install base cabinets (removed from another person\u2019s kitchen last summer) to increase our garage storage space and maybe even get the clutter cleared up. Later, I went shopping while Hubby went to his garden. Had a simple supper and am hunkered down in front of the idiot box because I can\u2019t concentrate on reading. Got sucked into scrolling through the online news about the devastating storms across the Midwest of our country and feeling horrible for the people are without homes\u2014or loved ones\u2014tonight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
